Let's start with an easy way to teach your dog how to shake paw when were you introduce them to someone.
Grab your dog's favorite treat in your fist cause as you know way to someone's heart is from their stomach this doesn't just apply to people applies to dog as well.
Then ask your dog to sit and then show your dog your fist with their favorite treat.
And try to make your dog keep their paw on your hand.
When they do so, say “yes” or do something to show them appreciation lil tip for showing appreciation, pet them really well maybe give some belly rubs and while talking to them like we talk to babies cause yeah they love that.
Now give them their treat and reward them.
While shaking your dog's paw with your other hand give this activity a name like “shake” or “say hi” so that when you say it next time your dog knows what to do cause they smart you know.
If your dog normally lifts their paw a lot without being asked, whenever they lift their paw with one hand hold their paw and shake it while giving it a name as told above.
Keep practicing every day until your dog is perfect with it.
This trick should do it.
